"Becoming a CIMI means I can help mother and baby understand one another and create lifelong bonds."

Meet Angela

Angela Lassiter, creator of Soothe Infant Massage focuses infant massage classes on four core areas of benefit for mother and baby: interaction, stimulation, relief, and relaxation.

Angela utilizes methodology from the International Association of Infant Massage to focus on the connection between mother and baby through positive touch. Infant massage instruction is a five-class series offered in a private or group setting. Each class focuses on a specific area of your infants' body and the massage strokes learned in each session build off each other to end in a cumulative full body massage during the final session. Traditionally, each class of the series is held one week apart to promote practicing and learning the strokes at home.

Angela is in the process of becoming a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI) through the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM) and is currently working full-time as a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) at a local children's hospital.
